What do I need before starting my driving lessons?
Currently in the UK you have to be 17 years of age to obtain a provisional licence to drive a car or ride a motorcycle – unless in receipt of a full disability allowance, when you can obtain a provisional licence at the age of 16 years. You must be in possession of a provisional driving licence before you will be able to drive on a public road. You can obtain a licence application form D750 from any main post office.

How many hours training will it take me to pass the driving test?
There is no easy answer to this question. Everyone is different and learns at different paces. As a guide, the DVSA quotes that on average it takes a learner driver approximately 45 hours of professional tuition and 22 hours of private practice to pass the test. Some will take a lot less, some will take longer. With our client centred approach you can be assured lessons are tailored to suit your individual needs, allowing you to pass quicker.

Do I need to pass my theory before starting driving lessons?
It is not essential to have passed or started your theory before starting, however beginning this process as soon as possble is an advantage if you were looking at commencing a quick pass course.
